Sustainable renovation and new build
A range of renovation and new build work in which great value was placed on sustainable materials and energy efficiency started at the beginning of 2020. A new direction should be taken for the future of the family business. For the owners, the quality and sustainability of the materials used was the top priority.
An approx. 800 m2 panoramic roof terrace with Sky Infinity pool, relaxation room and an additional sauna was built here. On the top floors, fifteen new double rooms with their own loggias were newly built. The hotel rooms at Haus Burgfels were all fully renovated and got new bathrooms with a separate WC. The rooms in Haus Schlossberg will be renovated in a second construction phase. The gourmet restaurant Schlossberg got new floor-to-ceiling windows during the course of the renovation.
Majvest 700 SOB impressed the timber construction company
The timber facade is blackened larch cladding (carbonised surface). More than ten SIGA products were used for this project, with the black, acrylate coated Majvest 700 SOB facade membrane, among other things, sparking enthusiasm from our client Stoll Zimmerei & Dacheindeckungen.
