Meret Oppenheim high rise, Switzerland

A 19-storey tower was erected on a six-storey pedestal directly at the Basel SBB railway station. In addition to gastronomy, culture and various commercial businesses, the upper floors of the tower can also be used for living. The project was completed within three years. For an air- and wind-tight building envelope, the room-high windows were sealed with Fentrim IS 2, Fentrim 20 and Dockskin.
